Do you have any advice or words of encouragement for those who are thinking about getting involved in the WordPress community?
It’s a wonderful diverse community that thrives on people helping each other out. One of the most healthy open source communities in the world.
If you could make one improvement to WordPress today, what would it be?
Move all core features around the customizer(& Gutenberg) to a plug-in. The complexities around trying to make the user experience more SquareSpace or Wixs like, could create serious problems for trying to keep WordPress as flexible as possible as a CMS.
