It’s time for security and privacy on the Web to take a big step forward by adopting HTTPS for all traffic. Let’s Encrypt (letsencrypt.org) is a new free, automated, and open certificate authority created in order to help the Web take this step. This talk will cover how Let’s Encrypt works, why it works the way it does, and how we plan to get to a 100% HTTPS Web.
