Make WordPress Teams and Special Interest Groups will convene for Team orientation, informal Q&A discussions, onboarding guidance, and maybe even some formal Hackathon sessions.
You don’t need to be a current contributor or be ready to join a team—just follow your interests to learn about how you might contribute to the WordPress project, become active in support forums, submit plugins and themes to the Repository, or just to learn more about the vast global WordPress Community.
Tabletop signs will be posted in the Atrium for groups to gather.

- Core—write code, fix bugs, and help with development
- Accessibility—provides accessibility expertise and resources.
- Marketing—oversees materials to market WordPress and community.
WordPress Interest groups
- Security—meet with a security team member
- Plugins—learn how plugins are submitted and reviewed
- Themes–learn how plugins are submitted and reviewed
Groups are subject to change, and open to ad hoc additions.
