What inspired or motivated you to give this talk at WordCamp?
I submitted a talk for WordCamp as I wanted to become more active in the community by sharing what I have learned. I always find speaking to be powerful. It helps me learn and reflect but, more importantly, it allows me to connect with others and learn from their experiences as well.
Do you have any advice or words of encouragement for those who are thinking about getting involved in the WordPress community?
I am actually a new member to this community. I have been more active in the Drupal community in the past. That being said, there are three things I do when joining a new group. Attend events, volunteer and be social at events so I can meet people.
