We’re happy to host a Contributor Day at WordCamp Minneapolis St. Paul on Sunday, August 6, 2017. This event is open to conference attendees at no additional charge—just wear your lanyard with tickets for Friday and/or Saturday.

Volunteer contributors are key to the success of WordPress, and Contributor Days are for everyone, on every experience level, with any interest in helping with the WordPress project.  Become a part of the community that makes and supports our open source software system that runs 28% of the web.

You don’t have know how to code. There are a variety of roles to fill and many projects where you can be involved:  Accessibility, CLI, Community, Core, Design, Documentation, Flow, Marketing, Meta, Mobile, Plugins, Polyglots, Support, Themes, Training, TV. Find out more about all the contributor groups at Make WordPress.

Young man and young woman with laptops at WordCamp MinneapolisWe’ll start the day with a general session on how to become a WordPress contributor. Contributor Day will also feature Breakout Groups for networking and discussion about working with WordPress and in the web industry.
