What inspired or motivated you to give this talk at WordCamp?
I think now is the time that there’s a lot of people just getting started. The types and tricks I am providing are ones I wish people would have given me when I was just getting started.
Do you have any advice or words of encouragement for those who are thinking about getting involved in the WordPress community?
Soak up everything. WordCamps bring some of the best of the best together. You can learn just as much in the hallway track or walking around the sponsor booths, then you can in a session. Meet people. Try to meet at least 10 new people you can start building relationships with. Be open and honest about what you are struggling with or the challenges you face. We can experience them together!
